Transparent BPO Appoints Jonathan Hummel As VP of Jamaica Operations

BPO Industry Leader is First Jamaican-based Employee as Company Expands in the Caribbean
Rockville, MD, Jan. 13, 2022 – Jonathan Hummel is joining Transparent BPO, a global contact center and business process outsourcer, as vice president of operations in Jamaica.
As Transparent BPO expands to a new 1,500-seat facility in Angels, HummeI will oversee the site’s initial construction and staffing to begin operations. He will also serve on the company’s Executive Leadership Team and report to Lance Hale, president of Transparent BPO.
“Jonathan is an established leader, not only in Jamaica but throughout the entire customer care sector,” said Hale. “He takes a personal interest in developing the best leaders throughout any organization he has been associated, starting by instilling a healthy work environment.”
Hummel has worked in Jamaica for nearly 20 years with Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), Xerox and Conduent, managing operations with thousands of employees and supporting clients in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, transportation and telecommunications. He is also actively involved in the community, creating a BPO Agent Training program in Jamaica as well as the first licensed, pre-tax and self-contributory retirement program in the country.
