Sales Executive Brings Deep Background to Management Ranks

Rockville, MD, Dec. 17, 2021 – Industry veteran Dean Birtwell is joining Transparent BPO as Vice President of Business Development. He reports to Scott Newman, CEO of Transparent BPO, a global contact center and business process outsourcer.

In his new role, Birtwell will focus on expanding the company’s commercial opportunities and developing new business relationships for Transparent BPO and will also serve on the executive management team.

“Dean augments our sales ranks with him more than two decades of sales experience within the BPO industry, most recently focusing the majority of his time on nearshore and offshore markets,” said Newman. “His experience is especially beneficial as we expand our footprint into new markets.”

He said Birtwell’s experience of helping clients navigate the sales cycle will help them address the demand for a growing number of channels to connect to their preferred brands, including voice, chat, and email. Birtwell’s sales experience has benefitted a host of top-tier BPO players, including H-P, Capgemini, WNS and Wipro. Prior to joining the private sector, he served in the U.S. Navy, Special Ops.
