Our team came together to support students at Pamarawan School in The Philippines by donating essential school supplies to help them succeed in the classroom. Through the generosity of our employees and volunteers, we provided notebooks, writing materials, and other educational essentials. This initiative reflects our commitment to investing in education and empowering young learners with the resources they need to build a brighter future.

Our volunteers partnered with a local homeless shelter in Spanish Town to provide meals, essential food items, and compassionate support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Employees generously donated supplies and volunteered their time to help prepare and distribute items while connecting with members of the community. We are committed to serving with empathy, promoting dignity, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing difficult circumstances.

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, our team organized a riverbank cleanup during the La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge. Employees volunteered their time to collect waste along the river, helping preserve one of Belize’s most treasured natural resources. Together, we removed dozens of bags of litter, demonstrating that small actions can create cleaner communities and a healthier environment for future generations.

The team supported individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown Belize City by preparing and distributing warm meals. This initiative was a simple way for our team to give back, show compassion, and make a positive difference in the lives of people in our community.

As part of our back-to-school outreach, our team visited Evergreen Primary School to help create a brighter and more welcoming environment for students. Volunteers came together to paint and refresh the school’s exterior walls, giving the space a renewed look as students prepared to return to the classroom. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting local schools and creating positive spaces where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

“In 2025, we launched our annual La Ruta Maya Cleanup Campaign with a simple goal, to give back to the communities and river that give so much to Belize. Watching the excitement of the race and then staying behind to clean up the riverbanks and surrounding areas was an incredibly rewarding experience. It fills us with pride to know that while athletes showcase their strength and determination on water, we are doing our part to preserve the beauty of the Belize River for future generations. Serving our community in this way has strengthened our commitment to environmental stewardship and reminds us that every effort, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference.”

“Having the opportunity to volunteer and be a part of our CSR strategy was the utmost joy! We were able to partner with Marla’s House of Hope and support them with a small donation; it was truly a meaningful experience. My perspective has forever changed. Seeing first-hand the children and how much support, love and care is needed at this early stage of life inspired me to want to do more. The best lesson I received through this initiative is gratitude and appreciation for the little things in life. We are blessed, and in turn, we can continue, as a company, to share our resources and give back to the community.”

“I grew up in Pasadena, Texas. “Stinkydena” which is known for the smelly papermill and coffee mill. I know how important fresh air is! I couldn’t think of any other acceptable answer when I was approached about representing my campaign for TransparentBPO picking up trash after the La Ruta Maya Challenge! We got to pick up trash for the first year, I went and saw a few other groups! The following year we saw other groups and this time some of the bystanders joined as well! Just one more bystander joining made it all worth it.”

I’ve also had the chance to pick up a paintbrush and help brighten the hospital playground, turning it into a cheerful space for children. Additionally, taking part in the Pink Run for Breast Cancer Awareness allowed me to stand with survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and raise crucial awareness for a cause that affects so many families. Each of these experiences has taught me that no effort is too small. Volunteering is not just about the tasks you accomplish; it’s about the community you create and the lives you impact. I am deeply thankful for the chance to support others and encourage everyone to find their own way to give back. It truly transforms you for the better.”

“Joining a CSR activity in Bulacan gave me the opportunity to witness the extraordinary dedication of the teachers at Panasaan High School. Despite having the option to work at schools closer to their homes, they choose to travel by boat for almost an hour each day to provide education to the youth in the community. Their commitment reminded me that true service is about choosing purpose over convenience. Witnessing their sacrifice and passion for education gave me a renewed appreciation for the impact that dedicated individuals can have on shaping the future of the next generation.”
