Transparent BPO Named Among Washington D.C. Area’s 75 Fastest Growing Companies for 2018

LAYTONSVILLE, MD (October 3, 2018) — Transparent BPO, a nearshore contact center and business process outsourcer, announced today that it had been named by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) as one of the D.C. area’s 75 fastest growing companies for 2018. Transparent was chosen from among 2,000 private, locally-based companies.
WBJ has published a list of the fastest growing companies headquartered in Greater Washington for the past 20 years and, this year, saw a record number being considered for the prestigious program.
“The process began months ago when we begin taking nominations on our website in April,” the Business Journal said in its announcement. “This year, we surveyed about 2,000 local companies to find out key financial and other details. Our head sponsor-judge, accounting firm Cherry Bekaert LLP, helped us to fact-check the submissions.”
The Journal ranks the top 75 by the average percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period, from 2015 through 2017. Companies must have more than $2 million in revenue in 2015 and more than $10 million in 2017 to be eligible.
